In deckbuilders, players start with a bad deck of about 10 cards. They use those cards to buy better cards and increase the average value of cards in their deck. As the game goes on, they may remove (trash) their old cards to maximize their chances to draw the powerful combos they’re constructing. Ultimately, players will use their decks to achieve the win condition, which may involve buying or otherwise earning Victory Points, defeating a monster or boss card, or destroying some crucial aspect or character from their opponents’ decks.

In Fashion Cents, we want to take it to the next level.

Fashion Cents has no action limit. It has no buy limit. And most importantly, in Fashion Cents, turns are fun. We wanted to bring the experience of dress-up to the table. That’s why every turn, you’ll dress up your character in a new outfit, an outfit that has implications to both you and your opponents between turns.

Fashion Shows!

To keep players on their toes, some cards have NEXT TURN effects that may ask you to compare outfits and host a fashion show! The best (or worst!) dressed players win bonus prizes for the round, such as drawing cards or gaining extra money.

In the Advanced Game, players compete to earn the favor of, and ultimately attract a Fashion Sponsor.

Fashion Sponsors are randomized each game, and offer unique win conditions. They’re on a first come, first served basis, so if you want a certain Sponsor, you better attract them quickly!
